On February 10, nationally syndicated radio host Hugh Hewitt hosted his three-hour program live from the campus of Thomas Aquinas College. In this video, he interviews three of the College’s students as part of that broadcast. Providentially Mr. Hewitt’s visit coincided with the nationwide outcry about the forthcoming federal mandate that requires Catholic organizations to fund health-insurance policies that cover contraception, sterilization, and abortifacients. Thomas Aquinas College has joined many other faithfully Catholic institutions in resisting this violation of religious freedom. Naturally Mr. Hewitt interviewed College officials, students, and other guests about the mandate, but he also spent considerable time discussing the College itself — its history, its Catholicity, its unique academic program and pedagogy.
